Partis Computing sends a number of emails containing files. By default, all email file attachments are sent in the old UUE format, due to some email applications being unable to read newer attachment types. UUE is old and highly inefficient (resulting in larger emails than strictly necessary).
If you wish to change the type for file attachment format, you may do so here. Note that if you can accept MIME attachments, then it is recommended that you select this as it will reduce the size of any email containing an attachment and thus reduce your time to download it.
